Right-to-Life Contest 2017
Examine pro-life issues and create an original, persuasive essay or poem presenting the pro-life view.
This contest, conducted by the Right to Life of Laramie County, is open for entries from all citizens of Wyoming. Entries must be original works that have not been previously published or received awards in other contests.
Junior High Level -- 7th - 9th grade
Senior High Level -- 10th-12th grade
Adult Level --
Prizes will be awarded to FIRST, SECOND, and THIRD place winners in each level.
1st - $100.00
2nd - $75.00
The deadline for submitting entries is January 16, 2017.

Entries must reflect the general theme of respecting life, and may include thoughts on abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, stem cell research and related issues.
Essays and poetry should be 500 words or less. If you use statistics and quotations in the essay, they must be referenced by the use of footnotes and a bibliography. Poetry may be of any form appropriate to the seriousness of the subject.
Entries must be typewritten and double-spaced. Each will include a cover page with the entry form completed (next page). The entrant’s name or other identifying information cannot appear elsewhere in the entry.
